Spiral stairs from the kitchen lead to the attic of the second floor, which has access to a small balcony.

At 930 square feet, Shoreline Cottage is small but big. The inspiration for this plan came from a city family’s desire for a simple house on the coast that would offer peaceful views from all sides. A clapboard and clapboard exterior, gabled roof and spacious porch set a traditional tone, while tall windows and an open interior give the home a modern flair.
